Is the standalone app included with my GifGun license?

Yes. One GifGun 2 license activates the After Effects plugin, the standalone desktop apps for macOS and Windows, and the GifGun Online web app. Use the same license code from your aescripts account.

What are the system requirements?

macOS 15 (Sequoia) or newer on Apple Silicon (M1–M4), or Windows 10/11 64-bit. Intel Macs are supported by the After Effects plugin up to version 2.0.20.

Should I use the desktop app or the web app?

Both use the same compression engine. The desktop app is best for large files and batch jobs. GifGun Online runs in any modern browser – including Linux and ChromeOS – with nothing to install, and your files never leave your computer.
